Welcome, Pen Tivokeish!

January 11, 2010
By Hasidic Rebel

We expect to have a number of well-known Chasidic bloggers and commentors contribute regularly to this blog. The first that has joined is the erstwhile Pen Tivokesh, blogger extraordinaire, author of the very fine blog Penned In – Writing in Confinement.

What will Pen be writing about? Chasidim, for one. Because that’s what I asked him to write about. But, then again, he might just write about Highway Codes and Grimm Brothers’ Tales.

A Chasid writing about Grimm Brothers? For real? Let’s hope not. Hager brothers, Teitelbaum brothers, Twerski brothers, now those are things we care about. Ah, but there lies the rub. Pen doesn’t kowtow to the the public. The public kowtows to him and his masterful prose. Welcome, Pen. We look forward to your contributions.
