Comments of the Week

Comments by Keren, Der Bik and others are awarded "Comments of the Week"'.
June 1, 2011
By Unpious.com Staff Writer

We hereby award “Comment of the Week” to the following intriguing/funny/spot-on comments posted on Unpious this week. Feel free to recognize your own favorite in the comments below!

Keren: If an ankle in a thin stocking is arousing, there really isn’t anywhere else for the women to go, except maybe a burka.

Der Bik: What people who’ve left frumkeit complain about isn’t *imperfection” among frum Jews. What they complain about is frum Jews, again and again and again, knowingly and willfully and intentionally acting with full malice aforethought in ways that aggressively and grotesquely violate Torah’s most basic precepts in order to make life hellish for other Jews.

Ben Sorer Moreh: Are the social consequences for skipping all or part of the mani-pedi the same as saying “no thanks” to all or part of the mikveh ritual?

Stella: as a humanist, my heart rejoices when people of strong & diverse & without faith can sit and talk and metaphorically break bread.
